Subject: Request for sponsoring or partnership

Dear Mrs and Mr,

Our non-political and non-denominational humanitarian association is looking for the sponsors and partners likely to be sensitive to our Nepal health and medical actions. We thank you in advance for reading these few lines.

PRESENTATION OF THE ASSOCIATION

MANOJ Association is a humanitarian NGO made up of doctors, nurses and volunteers involved in medical and health development at NEPAL. It has been working in this country since 2010 in rural villages, within several VDCs (Municipalities Community) in several districts (Department) of the country, as well as in Kathmandu.

The action of MANOJ Association does not consist of assistance, rather a partnership. In order to guarantee its sustainability, all the actions are carried out with the populations (inhabitant’s involvement and participation) and local authorities.

MANOJ Association has an extensive network of private and institutional contacts at Nepal. On site, two Nepalese coordinators monitor medical cases, and organise, monitor and report on development projects.

OBJECTIVES OF THE ASSOCIATION

*To lead education activities about hygiene and health for the populations

*To build collective and individual sanitary facilities to improve sanitary conditions

*To build fountains and to install water mains

*To detect disabilities and various pathologies during medical treks and health camps

*To pay travel expenses for people to specialized hospitals, miscellaneous examinations, hospitalization fees, surgery fees and medical follow-up

*To train health professionals (nursing studies) and to continue education of existing nurses

We organize dental health camps in partnership with the Kantipur dental hospital and ophthalmology camps (cataract screening and operations) with the Nepal Eyes Hospital.

Finally, our projects also consist of identifying the local clinics and their needs in our intervention areas. This involves equipping them with adequate basic medical equipment (consultation table, delivery table, sterilization equipment, auscultation equipment and necessary equipment for the improvement and medical practice of the nursing staff). An extension of these intervention zones will be envisaged according to our financial means.

6 or 7 times a year, teams of nurses, doctors and other French volunteers take turns on site to implement our objectives and perpetuate our actions.
The expenses association are extremely low because the volunteers pay their flight expenses and they are not compensated during the actions. The donations are therefore invested to the maximum extent possible.

Hence, a financial contribution, a donation, would help us to continue the many projects of the MANOJ Association.

Our association is recognised of general interest, this entails a tax reduction of 60% of the amount of the donation. For example, a 200 euros donation entails a tax reduction of 120 euros for you company.

We are at your disposal to meet you and to present our projects. You will also find on our blog all the actions carried out since the creation of our association.

We thank you in advance for your interest in this appeal, for the confidence you will show us and we ask you to accept our sincere greetings.
